The Dark Knight

While marvel went the route of suspension of disbelief to create the Avengers and the Marvel cinematic universe, DC went the more gritty route to portray realism in the cinematic universe. One such example of this is in the The Dark Knight. This movie give an audience the feel of being in the city of Gotham itself as if it were a real city in the United States.

The Dialogue feels down to Earth

The dialogue and how people interact with on another in this movie feels real. There are no irrational thinking people to bring a well tuned audience out of the action with their rash decisions or silly antics. The Ultimatums the antagonist give the police force and Dark Knight force the protagonists hands as they try to hold up to their morals.
